Our Staff

Amy and Ella

Amy Battiato

Amy's love of animals started at an early age, as early as 5 yrs old. She would bring home turtles, frogs, birds, lost dogs - you name it! Growing up in the country, Amy was taught a true love and appreciation for all animals. After working for 10+ years in corporate America as a project manager, Amy felt like something was missing. She wanted to find a job that could not only utilize her experience in project and office management but incorporate her love of animals as well. That's when Amy's path crossed with VETdispatch! She lives in Long Valley, NJ where she shares her home with her wonderful boyfriend, Hugh, as well as their two black cats Chloe and Cakes (and any other animals that may be passing by).

Celina and Velvet

Celina Longo

Celina has always had a passion for helping animals. Her passion for animals really sparked after adopting Dyson, her dog. She has volunteered at a few local shelters and is currently in the process of receiving her certificate for veterinary assistant online at Penn Foster College. She shares her home with her cat, Velvet, and dog, Dyson.

Sarah Maltz

Ever since Sarah was little, she has had a passion for helping animals. Having pet sat and volunteered at local animal shelters, Sarah has had the pleasure of caring for all kinds of animals throughout her lifetime. She considers her own pets to be family, and she knows first hand how hard it can be when they get sick, and how traumatic the vet experience can be. After discovering VETdispatch for her pets, she wanted to be part of the organization that shares her desire to give animals the care they deserve. Sarah lives in Livingston with her family, her dog Boo, and her two cats Maxwell and Prudence. She is currently studying Sustainability Science at Montclair State University in hopes to someday help all living things on a global scale.

Diane and Buddy

Diane Springer

Purchasing Manager

Diane has been a lifelong lover of animals and this passion led her to her first career in veterinary medicine, serving first as a veterinary assistant and later as a Registered Animal Health Technician, working in several veterinary practices in Morris County as well as The Seeing Eye in Morristown, NJ. When a serious knee injury made it impossible to continue the work as an animal health technician, she was fortunate to have found a second career in human healthcare, in the field of Materials Management and Purchasing. Working in community hospitals in New Jersey, she held the positions of Buyer, Senior Buyer, Purchasing Manager and Strategic Sourcing Analyst. Diane decided that it was time to go back to her first love, working within the realm of animal health and care, and that is when she found the wonderful opportunity at VETdispatch.
