Dr. Debbie Elliott

Debbie Elliott, DVM

House Call Veterinarian

Dr. Elliott is a founder and one of the veterinarians of VETdispatch. She graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. Immediately after her graduation, she moved to New Jersey and worked for several years in a multi-doctor animal hospital. Since 2000, she worked as a relief veterinarian, serving at several local animal hospitals. After many years of practice, she has decided to offer house call services to pet owners in order to provide better and more individualized medical care. Dr. Elliott enjoys providing care to animals when they are relaxed in their familiar surroundings.

Dr. Holly Hansen

Holly Hansen, DVM

House Call Veterinarian

Dr. Hansen earned her DVM degree in 2005 from Tufts University-School of Veterinary Medicine. She also completed a one year small animal medicine and surgery internship at Arboretum View Animal Hospital outside of Chicago. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, she was a medical crime scene investigator. Her interests in veterinary medicine are feline medicine, geriatric medicine, and internal medicine. She shares her home with 13 cats: Buttons (whom she acquired from Grenada, West Indies), Henry George (her 3-legged boy), Kahlua, Kiwi, Miss Ozone, Tiki, Lilly, Mandy, Rupert, Boopie Sully, Miss Friday, Flicker, and Oscar.

Dr. Lisa Steinberg

Lisa Steinberg, DVM

House Call Veterinarian

Dr. Steinberg graduated from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. For over 12 years following graduation, she practiced surgery and medicine in central NJ, with 3 years of experience as a general practitioner in an emergency and specialty referral setting. Her special interests include small animal medicine, cardiology, ultrasonography and the human-animal bond. Dr. Steinberg and her family share their home with a dog and a cat. She has treated many animals in their homes, and appreciates and enjoys the opportunity that this gives her to provide care in a more relaxed environment.

Dr. Lori Walker

Lori Walker, DVM

House Call Veterinarian

Dr. Lori Walker grew up in Sparta. She received her B.Sc. at Rutgers University and went to veterinary school at University of California at Davis. After graduation in 1991, she returned home with her husband and two children to practice in New Jersey. Besides practicing veterinary medicine, she breeds and shows alpacas and Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs.

Dr. Slade

Kim Slade, DVM

House Call Veterinarian

Dr. Kim Slade graduated from Cornell School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 with her daughter on her hip and her husband in the audience. She practiced general medicine and surgery for two years before moving to house call practice in 1990 when her son was born. While her first love continues to be house calls, she works at a local hospital as permanent relief. Dr. Slade particularly enjoys geriatric and preventive medicine. Her free time is dedicated to family, friends and outdoor activities with her "trusty jackx" , Gabby at her side. Her household also contains a host of other critters that drop by to visit. And yes, her daughter became a veterinarian too!

Dr. Goldman

Ralph Goldman, DVM

House Call Veterinarian

Dr. Goldman grew up in Highland Park, NJ always wanting to be a veterinarian. After graduating Rutgers University Cook College with a degree in Animal Science, he attended the University of the Philippines receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1981. He completed an internship at the Animal Medical Center in 1984 and then went to private practice. He owned and operated two full service hospitals in Florida, before returning north in 2002 to become an associate at the oldest cat practice in Manhattan and ultimately became a partner at Feline Health in New York City in 2008. Dr. Goldman enjoys feline medicine, dermatology and behavioral medicine. He serves on the advisory council of Veterinarians Without Borders, and has worked overseas in India, the Philippines and China. He lives with his wife Macon, Fenn his dog, Harry and Sally the cats, and Oscar, a 36-year-old Cockatoo.

Dr. Cohen-Grady

Tracy Cohen-Grady, DVM

House Call Veterinarian

Dr. Cohen-Grady has been a veterinarian practicing small animal medicine and surgery since May of 2000 after graduating Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She can honestly say it is the BEST career ever! Her professional interests lie in canine behavior, internal medicine, nutrition, and personalized, prevention plans. She takes pleasure and pride in creating and increasing strong human-animal bonds, and helping clients maintain their pet’s health through each of their life-stages, from baby to geriatric. She is an advocate for the homeless and loves to see a newly adopted animal for their first examination. In her spare time, she volunteers at Bully Baby Rescue. When she is not working she enjoys knitting, cooking and lifting weights at the gym. She shares her home with her husband, 2 beautiful daughters and 2 loveable rescued shelter dogs, Boudreaux and Josie.

Shirley Tyson and DeSoto

Shirley Crane


Shirley has had pets her entire life and decided at a young age that somehow she would always find a way to care for animals. She has watched people's pets since she was 14 years old. She finally discovered her passion while taking numerous dog training classes with her Rat Terrier, Tyson. She decided to become a dog trainer and obtained her dog training certificate from the Animal Behavior College in 2004. Since then she has obtained an associates degree in Biology and most recently received her Certified Pet Dog Trainer certification. She and her partner, Maria, have a young son, Stephen, and two dogs, Tyson and DeSoto. She owns a dog walking, dog training and pet sitting business and hopes to one day continue her education in animal science and behavior.

Dale and Art

Dale Bizzari


Dale has spent her entire career working in the veterinary field. Her passion for animals propelled her college education. Shortly after graduating SUNY Delhi with AAS degrees in Equine Science and Veterinary Science, she began work as the Head Technician for a multi-doctor practice in NYC and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in New York State. After working for three progressive practices and 20 years of technician work in Manhattan, it was time to stop the long commute and she worked for two busy practices in Morris County, NJ. Her career took a turn when she worked for a start-up veterinary GPO, which Dale currently owns. She and her husband own a home in Chester, NJ, which they share with their Pointer, Art (aka Bubba). In her spare time, Dale enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking walks with Art, cooking, gardening, biking, swimming, reading, and cross country skiing.

Marie Bernath

Veterinary Technician

Marie entered the veterinary field shortly before earning her associate's degree in veterinary technology from Northampton Community College. She has spent the last 5 years working as a veterinary technician at a small animal practice. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband Andrew, her family and her two cats, Jack and Malcolm.


Daren Loyko

Veterinary Technician

Daren has always had a compassion for the care of animals. He has been working in the veterinary field for the past five years and has been pet sitting for many years as well. He loves spending time with his many animals, including his dog P.J., a 13 year old mixed breed he had rescued from an animal shelter many years ago. He has five cats (Black Magick, Lestat, Whysteria, Sissy, Ray Ray), two pigeons and various fish. In his free time he enjoys listening to an array of music, gardening and dancing.

Dawn Torstenson

Veterinary Technician

Dawn has been working with animals since she graduated from Moravian College with a BS in Biology in 1990. She originally was doing research but after having children, decided to switch to veterinary medicine. She has been working as a veterinary technician since 2003 at small animal hospitals. Dawn is involved in German Shepherd Dog rescue group. She also fosters orphaned animals that come into the hospital. Dawn shares her home with her husband, two children, two German Shepherds and three cats. In her spare time she can be found at the barn spending time with her Appaloosa horses.

Chris Carlson

Veterinary Technician

Chris has always loved animals, growing up with cats and now sharing her home with three Australian Shepherds. She earned a B.S. in Biology and an M.A.T. from Montclair State University. She teaches high school Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Before becoming a high school science teacher, she worked in Molecular Genetics research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her love of animals led her to work part-time as a veterinary assistant for sixteen years before moving to Morris County. In her spare time, she enjoys training and competing in agility with her youngest dog.


Aisling Howe

Veterinary Technician

Aisling has had a passion for the veterinary field from a very young age. She has worked with horses for the majority of her life, and always had a number of different animals at home. She received her BA from Green Mountain College in 2009 majoring in Biology. She has 5 years combined experience in small and large animal clinics. She enjoys baking, knitting and playing guitar, spending her time with friends and family, her two horses Mirage and Ariel, 2 cats and a Sheltie.


Patty Boyer

Veterinary Technician

Patty has always had a strong compassion for all animals. Growing up she had many farm animals and pets. She has worked in the Veterinarian field since 2006 on and off. Her experience is with canines, felines, small mammals, birds and reptiles. She enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs, Stoli a Pitbull, British a Shar-Pei and her 2 cats Diva and Puma. She has a saltwater tank and shares her home with her son and boyfriend.
